FODBITS screw-driven BT drilling and tapping chucks combine the chuck and BT toolholder in a compact, integrated assembly. The one-piece design helps reduce cumulative connection error and eliminates the separate chuck-to-arbor joint used in conventional assemblies.
The screw-driven self-tightening mechanism provides secure clamping during drilling and tapping. Consistent clamping performance in forward and reverse rotation, together with the safety-lock design, helps reduce the risk of accidental chuck release during CNC machining.

Selecting the Correct Model

- Machine spindle connection: BT40 or BT50
- Required clamping range: 1–13 mm or 1–16 mm
- Available tool length and machine clearance
- Required pull-stud or retention-knob specification
- Machine suitability for the intended drilling or tapping operation
- Tool weight and automatic tool changer limitations
BT40 and BT50 toolholders are not interchangeable. The retention-knob specification must also match the machine tool manufacturer’s requirements.
