FODBITS screw-driven Morse taper drilling and tapping chucks combine the drill chuck and Morse taper shank in a compact, integrated assembly. This one-piece design helps reduce cumulative connection error compared with a separate chuck-and-arbor arrangement.
The screw-driven self-tightening mechanism provides secure tool clamping, while the safety-lock design helps prevent accidental release during sudden stops or reverse rotation. These chucks are suitable for drilling and tapping applications where consistent clamping performance is required in both forward and reverse directions.

Selecting the Correct Model
Before ordering, confirm:
- Machine spindle taper: MT2 or MT3
- Required clamping range: 1–13 mm or 1–16 mm
- Required runout grade: ≤0.10 mm or ≤0.05 mm
- Available spindle space and overall chuck length
- Suitability of the machine for the intended drilling or tapping operation
An MT2 chuck cannot be installed directly into an MT3 spindle, and an MT3 chuck cannot be installed directly into an MT2 spindle without an appropriate adaptor or sleeve.
Important Compatibility Note
The machine model alone may not always confirm the spindle connection. Check the markings on the existing arbor, drill chuck, spindle sleeve or machine specification plate before ordering.
